How do I book a session?

How do I book a session?

Yay! I'm so happy you're thinking about booking a session with me! Please go to the "Book Now" page to fill out my form so I know what your needs are. Then, I will contact you with my scheduling link. Once you confirm a date+time with me, I will send you a "proposal" which contains your contract + invoice. I do require a 50% non refundable retainer in order to secure your spot (our email confirmation does not secure your date/time). Please keep in mind that if your retainer is not paid within 24 hours, your spot will be opened up to other clients.

It is SO important to me to help take the stress out of coordinating outfits for you and your family. As my client, you will get access to my Session Guide which contains tips and recommended shops for styling you and your family for photos.

As of 2024, I also now offer a Personal Stylist! If you'd like to save yourself the time and hassle of planning everyone's outfits, my stylist is here to help!

What if the weather is bad the day of my session?

What if the weather is bad the day of my session?

I will always, always, always reschedule for weather if I feel it will impact your photos or experience in a negative way! And...it is Ohio after all so weather can change even the day of. I do reserve time in my schedule for rain dates because this does/will happen from time to time. Please keep in mind though that if your availability is limited, this may make rescheduling a little trickier.

How long does it take to get my images back?

How long does it take to get my images back?

I endeavour to deliver full galleries within 2-3 weeks! Gallery turnaround times can vary based on several factors like session time (30 min vs 60 min), time of year (a session during busy season like fall vs. a winter session), etc. If a gallery is likely to be delivered later than predicted, I will be sure to communicate that to you. I put a lot of time and love into editing your images, making sure they look consistent and something I'm proud to share! :)

IF I WANT MY PHOTOS INDOORS, WILL I HAVE TO PAY A STUDIO FEE?

You do have to pay a studio fee to shoot at any local studio, other than my in home studio (which is free of charge). Most studios charge between $65-$85 by the hour. To view my in-home studio, check out my "Studio" story highlights on Instagram!

WHAT DO YOUR NEWBORN SESSIONS CONSIST OF?

WHAT DO YOUR NEWBORN SESSIONS CONSIST OF?

My newborn "lifestyle" session focuses on the connection between you, your new baby, and entire family. I'll capture those special moments in a more authentic, candid way (with some light posing) as opposed to traditional, newborn-only photos in a studio with lots of props and artificial light. Don't worry, I will still be sure to capture those precious, fleeting little details of your babe but in a more natural, authentic (and non-cheesy) way!

I love to get a mix of authentic family images and, of course, focusing in on your precious new babe and his/her adorable little features that won't stay that way for long!

Can I book a shorter Newborn Session (i.e. 30 minutes)?

Can I book a shorter Newborn Session (i.e. 30 minutes)?

I require a minimum of 60 minutes for Newborn sessions (but will stay up to 90 minutes). On average, I spend between 70-80 minutes at each Newborn session. Between diaper changes, feedings, outfit changes, extra snuggles for the occasional fussy period... the more time, the better! Ultimately, I want you to have the best experience and best images possible of you and your family! When I started photographing newborns, I did offer 30-minute sessions and 100% of them went over their time :)
